They buried the lede pretty deep, but the makeup bit is just a lead-in to coverage of the trade agreement struck with Japan’s Nippon Steel.
I kinda feel like you should provide some tips for the rest of the class.
Not sure if this is allowed. I don’t see any actual news articles on this.
I’ve seen government releases allowed in the past, but I don’t recall any recently / from the current administration. This isn’t really an article/official press release, so I’m inclined to say “no” but will defer to the other mods.
Per rule 4, can you please fix the post title to match the article’s? The first half of it is fine, but the second half crosses into editorializing (even though part of it is in the description). It also looks like the source updated the headline from what shows in the embed title.
Can you please fix the title to either:
- NYPD detective on Adams’ security detail may be tied to crypto millionaire torture case: Sources (headline on article)
- Crypto millionaire torture investigation takes shocking turn (headline in embed description)

Ah, okay. I forgot EDL’s were a thing since they weren’t available in my state.
I don’t think that it has RFID embedded into it (mine doesn’t look like it does when I hold it up to the light).
I think the main thing with Real ID is the standardized identity proofing required to get one, how that identity info is verified, and the fact that the info is shared between states/federal level.
Rule 6: The community does not allow opinion pieces, only factual articles. Consider posting to [email protected] instead.
